Privacy Policy
Repuvi ("Repuvi", "we", "us", or "our") provides an online review-management platform that helps businesses monitor and respond to their customer reviews. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Repuvi website at repuvi.com and the Repuvi web application.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, and password (passwords are stored only as a secure hash) when you register.
- Business details — your business name, category, city, contact phone, and the review-platform links you choose to add.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card details on our servers.
Information from connected services
When you choose to connect a third-party account (such as Google), we access only the data needed to provide the features you request. We describe Google data separately below.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage and device information (such as browser type and pages visited) to operate and secure the service.
- Authentication tokens needed to keep you signed in.
2. How We Use Google User Data
Google API disclosure. Repuvi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
If you connect your Google Business Profile, you authorise Repuvi to access certain data through Google's official APIs. Specifically, we may access:
- Your business locations and profile details — to identify which business you manage.
- Your customer reviews and ratings — to display them in your Repuvi dashboard.
- Review replies — to publish, on your behalf and at your direction, the replies you approve.
We use this Google data only to provide and improve the review-management features you have requested. Specifically:
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate safeguards.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless you give explicit consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymised.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and provide the Repuvi service.
- To display, organise, and analyse your reviews and ratings.
- To generate suggested reply drafts and, at your direction, publish replies.
- To send you service-related notifications (for example, new-review alerts you have enabled).
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Store and Protect Data
- Data is stored on secured servers with access restricted to authorised personnel.
- Connections are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
- Access tokens for connected services are stored securely and used only to perform actions you have authorised.
- We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
5. Data Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate Repuvi (such as hosting, payment processing, and AI text generation), under contracts that require them to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
Note: review text you choose to generate replies for may be sent to our AI text-generation provider solely to produce a suggested reply; it is not used to train third-party models where such use can be disabled, and it is not sold.
6. Your Choices and Data Deletion
- Disconnect Google — you can disconnect your Google account at any time from Settings, which revokes Repuvi's access. You may also revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.
- Access and correction — you can view and update your account and business details in the app.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us (see Contact below). We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Children's Privacy
Repuvi is a business tool and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
