This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website (repuvi.com) and services.
By using Repuvi, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, business name, city, business type
- Business information: Google Business Profile URL, business description, operating hours
- Payment information: Processed by Razorpay — we never store your card details
- Communications: Support emails, feedback, and complaints you send us
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address
- Log data: Server logs, error reports, API call timestamps
2.3 Customer Review Data
- Reviews fetched from Google, Zomato, Facebook (with your permission)
- Private complaints submitted through your Smart Funnel QR code
- AI-generated replies you create using our platform
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and improve the Repuvi platform and its features
- Generate AI-powered review replies using OpenAI's API
- Send email alerts for negative reviews and weekly reports
- Process subscription payments via Razorpay
- Provide customer support and respond to queries
- Send product updates and service announcements
- Comply with legal obligations under Indian law
- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
We do NOT sell your personal data to third parties. We do NOT use your review data to train AI models without explicit consent.
4. Data Sharing
We share your data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate Repuvi:
- OpenAI — AI reply generation (review text sent to generate replies)
- Razorpay — Payment processing (subject to Razorpay's privacy policy)
- Amazon Web Services — Cloud infrastructure and data storage
- Google — OAuth login, Google Business Profile integration
- Twilio — WhatsApp alerts (optional, only if enabled)
- Nodemailer/SMTP — Email delivery
All third-party providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
5. Data Storage & Security
- All data stored on AWS servers in Ireland (eu-west-1) — moving to Mumbai (ap-south-1) in 2026
- Database encrypted at rest using AES-256
- All data in transit protected by TLS 1.2+
- Passwords hashed using bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
- JWT tokens for secure session management
- Regular automated backups with 7-day retention
While we take industry-standard precautions, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and keep your login credentials confidential.
6. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained as long as your account is active
- Cancelled accounts: Data deleted within 90 days of cancellation
- Review data: Retained for 12 months after account closure
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law
- Support communications: Retained for 2 years
7. Your Rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India), you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Send an email notification to all registered users
- Display a notice in the Repuvi dashboard
Continued use of Repuvi after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
